Don Schrader is a famous Albuquerque activist that has been on television in the past. He said he never eats cooked food, never drinks or smokes, and never uses computers. He said he has never ridden a vehicle in 11 years. He said he “loves to live simply” and that he keeps a list of every penny he spends every day. He said that for the entirety of 2011, he only spent $4,441.
Schrader is also openly gay and is a proud nudist. He is often found strolling around the University of New Mexico Campus or along Central Ave. naked. He said his nudist lifestyle is based on his attraction to the naked male form and that he aspires to have the perfect male body. He even drinks his own pee as part of an allegedly healthy “urine therapy.” Schrader is a hardcore activist and lives in a room in a friend’s house with three other housemates. One of them is currently in Antarctica.
